It would be best if you read through the Protocol guide to
see what the API can do:

To view the contents of the doc, you can use the RawDocContents url
form the <atom:entry>:
<content src="http://docs.google.com/RawDocContents?
action=fetch&docID=document_id"/>

or embed the document in an iframe.
