Hello everyone, If you're not using the PHP Google Data client library, or you're are and your client version is > 1.0.0 (the current version is 1.8.4), you can disregard this message. Otherwise, read on.
Beginning this month, we will begin disabling SSLv2 on our servers as a precautionary measure to improve security. Unfortunately, there is a bug in versions of the PHP client library released before July 2007 (version 1.0.0 and earlier) that forces connections to use SSLv2. When connecting to a server that has SSLv2 disabled, this results in the following (fatal) error: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Http_Client_Adapter_Exception' with message 'Unable to Connect to sslv2://www.google.com:443.' If you think you might be affected by this, please either upgrade to a newer version of the PHP client, or see the FAQ entry below for a workaround: http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/faq.html#phpsslv2 Once again, recent versions of the PHP client are NOT affected by this. If you have any questions, please let us know. -- Trevor Johns --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Docs Data APIs" group.
