Yes you can do that, but its not as easy as it might appear to be. The spreadsheet api client library has a dot net example that lets you change individual cell in a spreadsheet. There may be other examples as well. You can also do it directly using xml or xml javascript but it envolves a bit of protocol. - Harry Mendell
