Hi Dan,

Wouldn't the <Optional> node breaks the XML validation on the legacy/
production iGoogle? I believe I have some issues on a few gadgets
caused by the rewrite new functionality (missing images when using the
gadget in the sandbox). I have not tried to tackle the problem yet,
but I was under the assumption that using the Orkut blog solution
would break the gadgets in iGoogle.

Is the rewrite still being tuned up and we can expect a solution from
Google's end, or do we need to put time in making sure our legacy
gadgets function fine on the sandbox?

Thanks,

Jerome
