I use the function _hesc() and this one is not working correctly
anymore in every situation:

_hesc('1') - works fine
_hesc(1) - error <--- this is my problem

Strangely:
_esc('1') - works fine
_esc(1) - works fine

Normally I would parse the int to a string and then everything should
be working fine again. But I use this function in a inline gadget
(http://www.google.com/ig/directory?url=hosting.gmodules.com/ig/
gadgets/file/111235031415052608966/google_gadget_gmail.xml), so I
can't do any changes.

Someone at Google can you please fix this problem (very) soon? Because
now my popular Gmail Gadget is not working properly anymore.

Thanks in advance!

Bas
