As others have expressed, I cannot move gadgets to a different tab. With the old iGoogle, I could just drag the gadget to the tab.
I also have not figured out a way to re-order the tabs. The only other comment that I have at this time is that once you expand a gadget to view the full screen, it isn't very easy to figure out how to minimize that gadget again. I can figure it out... but I doubt my parents could. There should be a big button that says 'Minimize Gadget' or 'Return to iGoogle' or 'Return to main page'. Something intuitive that is easy to understand for people that are not very computer savvy. The re-design is growing on me though.
