Hi, Just to clarify, I said that AdSense in gadgets wasn't being blocked intentionally, based on a policy issue. This is slightly different than "it's OK", because it will work, but not necessarily officially.
Regardless, any ads in gadgets must conform to the following guidelines: http://code.google.com/apis/igoogle/programpolicy.html. I'm unsure how strictly these rules will be enforced, but I imagine some amount of leniency will be given to allow developers to update their gadgets to these guidelines.
