Hi Jagers, If I understand your question properly, this is more about using iGoogle than about developing gadgets for iGoogle. The proper group to discuss this type of question is the following: http://groups.google.com/group/Google_Web_Search_Help-Personalizing/topics Unfortunately, this group is currently having to deal with a huge traffic of people complains, so your questions would most likely get lost in there.
If you want to reuse your iGoogle setup from one account to another, one way to do that would be to share your tabs with the other Gmail account (including your user preferences). You will receive an email with a link which will create the tab on the other account. This is not perfect, but this should allow you to achieve what you want.
