Hi Luke, The first time you visit /ig/sandbox, you are presented with the form. Once you submit the form, you are placed in the sandbox. Subsequent visits to google.com/ig will be visits to the sandbox (there is a sandbox welcome message that appears on the left to indicate this). If you revisit /ig/sandbox, you will be removed from the sandbox and be back on your normal iGoogle page.
If you are seeing opensocial is not defined, it is because you aren't in the sandbox.
