I don't think you can do a google.com/ig/ or google.com/a/ which is
not modifiable by the viewer. The concept is that this is a
personalized homepage which the user should customized to its liking.

As Ubuntu replied earlier, you can create you own webpage on which you
add gadget in syndicated mode.

If you are looking for an easier, more WYSIWYG approach, you can
create a simple page on http://sites.google.com. From the editor
"Insert" menu, click on "more" and you can add any gadget which have
been defined in the syndication directory.
