Hi everyone, now that I got my gadget published, I have some questions. Firstly, are gadgets' URLs canse-sensitive?
For instance, this URL (which was published and I added some upper- case letters just to highlight the gadget's name) http://www.google.com.br/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=www.tidybits.com/GGQuotesBR/specification.xml is different (ratings, comments, version, etc) from this one (http:// www.google.com.br/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=www.tidybits.com/ggquotesbr/specification.xml). That can cause some kind of confusion to the user if they get access to lower-case URL. Second, why my gadget isn't categorized yet? If you access http://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=bovespa&root=%2Fig&dpos=top (all categories search) you'll see my gadget at the very bottom, but if you access http://www.google.com/ig/directory?q=bovespa&root=%2Fig&dpos=top&cat=finance (within finance category search, you won't see it at all, although it is a Finance gadget in essence). I put the categories in the Module prefs section (category="Finance" category2="Finanças") some days after I submitted it for approval but some days before it was really published in the directory. So, is it just a question of time before it get categorized correctly? Thanks in advance.
