Hello everybody, I have few questions and suggestions: 1.There is a problem with worldwide distribution of canvas view. We put a big effort (arround 100 working hours just to make modifications) into developing and promoting the canvas view for our weather maps component (http://www.meteo-si.com/meteo-si.xml), but our users are mostly from Spain, Italy and France and now we found out that canvas view is not available worldwide. So we have a great gadget, do not have any channel to push and promote a gadget into the Great16 at http://www.google.com/ig/v2landing and we dont have a clue when anything will change. 2.We are willing to completly wipe ads from the compact view, but gadget developing is our business, and in mixed enviroment (some countries with canvas, some without) it is hard to work without informations. 3.Same situation is with OpenSocial. Usually I give an order to our developers to make a gadget OpenSocial. Their replay is: "Here is your gadget, but it works only in sandbox". Now we have a lot of gadgets OpenSocial-capable, but with no use, because OpenSocial works only in sandbox and no one knows, when.... and in which country first... 4.Local and global users - it is almost impossible to push a global gadget into the USA if the gadget is widely spread e.g. in Spain. In the USA directory is listed in the page e.g. 64 nevertheless in Spain is one of top gadgets. So it is not a wise decision to make a localized version of a global gadget, because there is no wordwide statistic - it is only county based - and you will just devide the statistic and hence the directory position. Also if you try to make a USA -country oriented gadget, there is no use - 4 weeks ago we changed a name of a gadget - in a directory is still the old one.
Let me clear this - iGoogle is a great platform, but the lack of information directly kills companies like ours.
