Hi Luca, This has been a long standing topic here to understand better how these stats are processed (average on how many days, is this by Google account, etc.), but to date this has never been explained in good details.
Recently, more threads have popped up to report some inconsistencies, like this one: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Gadgets-API/browse_thread/thread/40a0321202746e39# When you say you are logging the visit to your gadget, are you using Analytics, another similar system, or logging the access to bitmaps displayed in your gadget (not cached)? As you know, the gadget spec XML file is not accessed by the end user, but by the Google fetchers, and these specs are cached on Google systems.
