Hi David, I don't have a tentative release date for the gadgets.* API in production. The legacy API will continue to be supported after the launch of gadgets.*, but migrating gadgets to gadgets.* from _IG_* is relatively straightfoward (it's almost a 1:1 mapping). There will likely be a migration guide available for interested developers.
