Hi String, If you have some samples of gadgets that are experiencing problems, I would be happy to look at them. The error is probably something small, and possibly the same for all the gadgets.
The blog post that's referenced means some of the functionality is moving into production. The gadgets.* API will become available for open syndicated gadgets very soon, which is the first step towards having it in iGoogle, proper. Social features will still not be enabled.
