Hi Razz, I'm using gadgets.io.makeRequest successfully in the sandbox (not gadget.io.makerequest).
It's not clear to me whether it's available in production. Nor is it clear to me whether it will be available in production within "the next month" of Dan's most recent blog post. Some of the documentation seems to indicate that part of makeRequest is reliant on opensocial, but other documentation doesn't. My own experience is that I don't need to import opensocial in my XML to use makeRequest successfully in the sandbox (but makeRequest sends along some "opensocial" parameters anyway when using OAUTH for authentication). So yeah, not only am I using makeRequest successfully, but I'm able to use it with OAUTH and RSA-SHA1 (I'm running my own OAUTH provider) and both JSON and TEXT content types. Good luck, -Mark On Feb 12, 11:47 am, Razz <[email protected]> wrote: > I am looking at various posts in the group, and I am not very sure if > gadget.io.makerequest(url, callback,opt_params) is available on > sandbox and production igoogle. > > I have tried running the fetch XML/Text Examples and they don't seem > to work in sandbox > > regards > Rajesh --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
