Hi Alvin, This is not very clear how the category and category2 attributes impact the directory category classification. I personally do not use these attributes on my gadget. They are clearly supported by the XML parser, and will most likely have some impact on your directory classification, but this might take some additional time before your gadget get listed in the specified directory. For a gadget to make its way in the directory, we usually need to be fairly patient, as things start working one by one, some directories get updated only weeks later, some sections will only show your gadget once you have reached critical mass, etc. All this is not documented in anyway, so the best way to get your gadget on user iGoogle pages is to promote it. Make it interesting and useful, and talk about it on blogs, in forums, etc. Hope this helps.
