This is with reference to the increasing number of messages that have
been showing up on iGoogle.

For instance, today it was "Love your iGoogle homepage? Share a
story."

Some annoying messages have been there for several months now. The
footer contains the redundant link :
"Add a theme to give your page some style and color."

While the top header contains a rather large :

"* Get artist themes | New! Change theme from Classic | Add stuff ยป"

Each of this messages , including future ones can be AJAXed to allow
users to close them, or remove them from the page. Long-time users of
the service know we can change themes, we may not want to 'Share a
story' , we just want a nice clean page that has information WE want
to read.

This seems more like an oversight on part of iGoogle coders rather
than intentional , because given Google's prowess with Javascript, it
shouldn't be hard at all to hide these messages.

Sincerely hoping that the seemingly trivial issue is taken notice off,
Nash
