Hi,

Can anybody get me on track with fetching information from a Google
Gadget using an Excel webquery?

I've created an iGoogle Gadget in which one can enter two zipcodes.
The pages calculates the distance in between. I've also created an
HTML page via which one can pass the zipcodes as a parameter.

In my Dutch Excel I can choose Data>Externe gegevens importeren>Nieuwe
webquery. From this point on I can enter a URL. That URL should be:

http://postcodekilometerdeclaratie.googlecode.com/svn/tags/PROD/only_calculate.html?from=1111aa&to=2222aa

I've also seen examples of URL's fetching stockquote information like
this so it should be possible from Excel's point of view :-)

The problem with the iGoogle Gadget is that the data is not there yet,
it is still to be calculated. So I shouldn't draw anything on the
screen (not return anything) until I can create a page containing the
requested information. Then Excel will be able to handle it, I
suppose.

Hope this makes sense and anybody can help out,

Patrick Mackaaij
