Hi, The sandbox was temporarily experiencing a problem with the social ACL (the setting that permits the gadget to access social data). This was due to a small bug in the template that renders the settings, both when the gadget is installed, and when a user tries to edit the settings. We've temporarily disabled the ACL check, so you should be able to use your social gadgets as before, until the template is fixed.
