Hello, It appears the cached property of your Google Gadgets is checked. That's why the change you are making are not reflecting instantly. By default, all Gadgets that we create have Cached property enabled. Therefore, any change in their code will not automatically get reflected in the Gadget. However, using 'My Gadget' Gadget, you can uncheck the 'Cached' property of the Gadget so as to make it reflect changes in its code immediately. This Gadget will be of immense help to you when you play with the Gadget's code to optimize it.
Here is the link for adding this Gadget in your iGoogle homepage. http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=www.google.com/ig/modules/developer.xml Here is a screen shot for this gadget. Just uncheck the Cached property of your Gadget and you'll be able to see the changes instantly. http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/112742158596098941292/cache-mod.jpg Regards Tim On Apr 12, 11:03 pm, baseballsim <[email protected]> wrote: > I added some javascript to my gadget to make a link open in a new > window and it works when I preview it in the gadget editor but doesn't > take effect when I add it to my website.
