Hi William,

I've never seen that error myself, but generally HTTP 504 is "gateway
timeout", meaning some server between Google's and yours didn't
respond in a timely manner. Could be a problem at Google's end, could
be a problem with your server. If this is only happening in the
sandbox, then it's likely to be a Google issue, and odds are they'll
fix it before long. If it persists more than a few hours, report back
here and someone from G will probably be able to look into it.
