Hi Dan,

Just one question about aliasing: why users count is not updated for
the new gadgets?

I aliased two my gadgets:
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&url=gglets.gfarry.com%2Fgf-portfolio.xml
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&url=gglets.gfarry.com%2Fgf-weather-monitor.xml
I had ~15Kusers for 1st gadget and ~3K for 2nd before migration.

It's already more then a week since they were migrated but the About
pages show < 100 users for each.
Google Analytics shows about 40K pageviews for 1st and ~10K for the
2nd daily.

I'm aware of the next issue:
http://code.google.com/p/igoogle-legacy/issues/detail?id=309

And I understand it can be difficult to merge comments/rating from 2
gadgets into one.
But how is the user count calculated? Does it only count Add/remove
user clicks?
Why it can't count gadget references in user profiles?

You have a script to update gadget references during aliasing.
It should not be a big change to add counting of the references and
update user count for the new gadget.

It's hard to attract new users when user count shows <100 users.

Thanks,
gfarry
