I am having a similar problem, except with an expanding menu rather than a url. I'm trying to set my gadget up like CNN.com, where you have just headlines until you click on the headline and the beginning of the article shows up; when I preview it in GGE, it works fine and looks exactly as I want it, but when I put it on the actual IGoogle page the menu pops up already expanded and won't un-expand.
Like Reza said, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
