Hi Mark, You need to register the gadget as outlined in the alias form in order to obtain the secret. This, however, requires that you still have write access to the old gadget file. You no longer have access, complete the form anyway (omitting the secret key), and use the author_email address as the address to be notified on alias success/ failure. When the alias request is checked, that address will receive a failure notification. Reply to that email (from the author_email address), and the alias will be taken care of.
