*g* it's even simpler....
Go to your gadgets menu (on your iGoogle page).
Select "about this gadget"
Look right. click "Embedd this gadget" (it's in the "for webmasters"
section in the right column.
Use the wizard to generate the html-code.
paste it to your page.

You don't need to. but it publishing might be a good idea if you want
your gadget to be actually used. At least publishing means, you
entered enough meta-data. :-)
