I think that the map gadget is a great gadget, especially it's potential when used with spreadsheets!
I have setup a customer enquiry system whereby the enquiry form is filled in on my Google sites web site and an e-mail is sent to me alerting me that my form has been amended (someone has filled in the enquiry form and pressed submit). I now want to increase the functionality of this, as well as reduce the time it takes me to find the customer on a map, by including a Google Map of all enquiries to date in the alerting e-mail. I have managed to get to the point whereby I can create the map in the spreadsheet okay but I have hit a few problems: 1. The spreadsheet range required by the map gadget does not allow me to enter columns, only cells. How can I work with this limitation when the spreadsheet is amended with a new enquiry row? 2. How can I best include the information in the spreadsheet, along with the map, in an easily viewed document for staff? I have considered having it on an iGoogle page but I cannot find a gadget that will display it on the page. Any assistance/views would be appreciated.
