We have the same issue (along with a number of other developers)

One of our popular gadgets is no longer visible in the directory
(i.e., can't be found when searched or browsed), although it can be
found through the authors page and can be added to iGoogle through the
individual gadget page. The gadget is also listed in the "Developer
Dashboard" as "in directory" (with working stats).

The issue is especially disturbing because the gadget would have been
listed on the first page of "most users" in its category given the
size of its current user base. Now we don't have access to that
promotional opportunity.

Worse yet, there are a number of copies of this gadget (others copied
the source code of our gadget as-is and submitted as a new gadget
under their name) and those are still visible and accessible in the
directory, which is not that fair.

There is an open ticket regarding this issue that you may want to
"star" at:
http://code.google.com/p/igoogle-legacy/issues/detail?id=628&q=100K&colspec=ID%20Type%20Stars%20Summary%20Status

However no official response from Google (that we know of) on this yet

If others have more information, please chime in

Thanks
