the number of our gadgets disappearing from the directory has been increasing throughout the day. now almost all of our gadgets are showing "Not submitted to directory" in the dashboard. This doesn't seem to be a dashboard related problem since the gadgets are indeed can't be found in the directory through search or browse and their user stats are showing <100 when located manually. Yet, user stats seem to be correct on the dashboard. User stats also show correct values when browsed author page on iGoogle.
This seems to be affecting all gadgets including Google's own. For instance, the popular Google Finance Portfolios gadget is nowhere to be found on the directory and is showing <100 users. http://www.google.com/ig/directory?hl=en&url=www.google.com/ig/modules/finance_portfolios.xml We do not want to resubmit the gadgets to the directory not to overwrite something that we're not supposed to... (we resubmitted only one; it gained its user count and visibility through search; however seems like its ranking was lost) Hopefully we'll hear from Google on this soon.
