the google gadget system pretty much crapped out. i haven't heard a
peep from google on
this and i've had to rename and resubmit over 60 gadgets to get them
back in the directory. all of them showed less than 100 users after
this debacle. apparently current users of your gadget still have it
and it is
functional, but they'd never find it if they searched for it in the
directory.
so that means no new users other than referrals from those who already
have it
unless you rename the xml file and resubmit it. the limit is 10 per
day
so it took me 6 days basically to get them back in the directory.
with no word of advice from google, i didn't know what else to do. my
revenue from these gadgets
stopped when the system collapsed.  Good Luck.
