Our company makes available to the users of our private web application a "Dashboard" that is very similar to iGoogle, but the "Gadgets" are all tools for our web app - such as the current system status, a tool for looking up orders in our system, etc. This is much like IBM's WebSphere Portal.
Users of an IBM WebSphere Portal can add WebSphere-specific gadgets as well as Google Gadgets to their Portal page (Example: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0705_schaeck/0705_schaeck.html). I would like to implement something similar on my end, but cannot find any documentation on doing so. Specifically, I would like our users to be able to click an "Add Google Gadget" link, be taken to the Google Gadget Directory (like shown in Fig. 3 in the above example) where they can select a gadget, and then be taken directly back to my site after selection. Is there an API for working with the Google Gadget Directory in this fashion? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
