As per my knowledge, you cannot view the user setting in the GGE. I would suggest adding the gadget to iGoogle via File--> Publish --> Add to my iGoogle page.
Once the gadget is added to iGoogle, from the top right arrow on the gadget, you can select Edit Settings where you can view your userprefs.
