Hi Kaylan,

Making requests to content from directly inside your gadget is pretty easy.
 There is some documentation on code.google.com (
http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/remote-content.html) that describes
how you can interact with content.  Note that these requests are proxied
through Google's services to avoid cross-domain issues.
