I recently registered my gadget
http://121.242.142.215:8080/Gadgets/userfeatures.xml
in the igoogle gadget registration page
https://www.google.com/gadgets/directory/verify.
I received the token and had it pasted in my gadget and clicked on
verify. I received the consumer key and secret. I added these into my
DB. My gadget is not rendering inspite of doing all the aforesaid
steps. I have a set of questions to be asked which is as follows:
1) The consumer key and secret which we receive after successful
verification of the gadget is it of type HMAC ?
2) After receiving the consumer key and secret, would the gadget be
effective to be identified by the generated key and secret immediately
or will it take time for it to be effective ?
3) I havent added the author parameters such as author_email etc. Are
these parameters mandatory ? If so what are the mandatory parameters ?
4) Is registration of gadget done here
https://www.google.com/gadgets/directory/verify
is enough for it to appear in the igoogle app directory ?
5) Please give me some light on the registration process if I have to
make my gadget appear in the igoogle's app directory.
