Hi,
I followed up on this internally. Users can specify only one thumbnail and
only one screenshot per theme in the metadata. It is possible that Google
can take their own thumbnail images. There's no action you need to take to
influence this. If you'd like to suggest an improvement for the API, you can
submit a feature request in the issue tracker at
http://code.google.com/p/igoogle-developers/wiki/IssuesTab?tm=3 .
