please help me, I have read tons of posts and pages and still cannot
solve the problem. Here's the scenario:
1. I have created an extremely simple gadget.Here it is:
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?url=shallowuniverse.republika.pl%2Ftest.xml
2. I have not published it to the public, just installed on my iGoogle
page. It works fine (displays message "Debug [number]").
3. Now, I want to modify my gadget so I do it and upload new version
of XML (test.xml) to my site (hosted outside the Google).
4. I go to iGoogle again, refresh and.... same old gadget content is
being displayed. Sometimes, it gets refreshed immediately, sometime
after a few hours sometime even goes to the previous version(!).
I did the following to handle it but still with no effects:
- tried with IE and FF
- refreshed the page (with and without CTRL)
- cleared history, cache, cookies etc. (sometime it helps sometimes
not)
- installed "My Gadgets" gadget and turned off the cache - still no
effect.
- tried different hosting site (doesn't help at all)
Even now, when sending this post the gadget shows "Debug 1" while I
know that the XML on my server has "Debug 2" (I checked that by
opening the xml file directly from the server).
PLEASE HELP.
