I'm trying to develop a gadget with the following features: - Pull dynamic data from a MySQL database - Handle user login with a cookie or otherwise - Have the gadget render dynamically based on the container site
I'm not sure I can accomplish all of these in the same gadget. With the URL type gadget can I make gadget API calls? Is there any way for the container site to pass some data to the gadget without user interaction?
