I have a google doc spreadsheet with a chart gadget that I'm trying to render in an html page. I went to "Publish Gadget" and then copied the javascript code into the html file. However when I go to view it in the browser I always get an "access denied" message.
I have the access privileges of the document set to "Public on the web - Anyone on the Internet can find and view". I tried it with both ie and firefox. I also read somewhere that you need to add "&pub=1" to the end of the url. That had no effect for me.
