This is not a question for this forum, as iGoogle gadget and theme developers have no control over this iGoogle feature. You would be better posting in the Web Search Help Forum where such matters have been discussed *ad nauseum*.
The iGoogle left navigation bar is an integral part of the iGoogle page. Anyone with more than one tab finds it invaluable. However, I agree that it is completely unnecessary IF you only have one tab on your iGoogle homepage and IF you don't use iGoogle chat. Even if you do use it, it takes up valuable screen real estate on smaller displays. But there's a solution for that too, once you dump Internet Explorer and graduate to a more useful browser like Firefox or Chrome. The add-on "iGoogle Tab Remover" hides the left navigation until it's needed. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
