maybe you're using AVAST as Antivirus-Software? With this AV-Scaner
comes an Firefox AddIn named "avast!WebRep" which are in trouble with
iGoogle until a couple of days.

AVAST knows this little Bug, as shown here: 
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=75667.0
but offered the only solution "disable this AddIn" ad everything works
fine.

Hope that i'd support your trouble and fixed it on this little hint?!
