I'm not sure what you mean by "unlink" iGoogle from your Google account. You can't actually "unlink" iGoogle — it's another Google product available "in the cloud" when you're signed in to your Google account.
If you prefer to use Google Classic search page rather than iGoogle, switch by selecting "Classic Home" from the "gear" menu on the iGoogle page.
