Well... that wasn't very helpful was it? I've submitted about 8 themes since January and none of them have shown up. Put a LOT of work into them too. They weren't just personal... they were generic and seasonal themes that everyone could use. In the past, it's only taken about 2 to 4 weeks for them to show up, and now it's as if they just delete them as soon as they get them. The odd thing is... I see new themes being added, and it's almost as if they pick the worst ones possible to add to Google Themes. Some of them really shouldn't even be accepted as the size, resolution, and image are clearly out of focus or not centered or any number of issues with how it actually displays.
Wish we could get a definitive answer. I enjoy designing themes, but not if they're just going to end up in the trash after I've spent hours trying to create ones that look lovely and fit the Google theme bar appropriately.
