I'm trying to find out why one of our outdated Google gadget XML URLs is still being requested periodically.
It seems very programmatic. When it happens, the invalid URL is requested 4 times in a row, every second, for 4 seconds. Then there's a random wait period. I want to know if Google itself will need to request cached XML URLs and periodically request them. The URL in question is a bogus one that we used when testing to test an invalid case. At one point during testing we allowed an invalid URL to point to valid content and since then we've been seeing this invalid XML requested in our error logs periodically every day. I want to know how to invalidate it. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
