I guess the challenge is the "Build a working iGoogle gadget with your content
" part. I think I've managed that bit, but don't think I'm doing it right. When
I add the .xml file to my page it gives me the following error:
"The gadget you added is not valid
Unsupported feature: At least 1 ModulePrefs is required"

I'm not sure if the code is complete. Am I leaving something out? If so please
advise what it should look like.

Thanks a Million once again for your support!!!

work.

  :-)

You are at the iGoogle forum and thats the solution.

Build a working iGoogle gadget with your content and include the xml file
with the "Insert" - "... More Gadgets" - "Add gadget by URL" option.

At a iGoogle gadget u can use any kind of code (script, iframe)

Thank you very much for the time and effort taken on the matter, it is
really very much appreciated.

Unfortunately I need the widget to display on the active GoogleSites page
and not just a text link. Yes, I know it can work, but it spoils the feel.

    Thanks anyway! Any other solutions?

        Hi All,

I'm a firm believer to REALLY struggle before one ask stupid questions
on forums and I'm there now. After a very long struggle to get Google Gadget
Editor to work (And that through a WORKAROUND tip) I still can't get this to
work. (PS: I'm NOT a developer at all, but do try mu luck on logic). We own a
resort and make use of SafariNow.com for bookings. they have a "Widget" that
one can use on your own site to make online bookings and payments. The scrip
are supplied but I cant get it to work by any means on my GoogleSites page. Any
advice on where and exactly how to insert the code will be much appreciated.

The code they supply looks like this:

        <script type='text/javascript'
src='http://www.safarinow.com/site/httphandlers/bookingwidget.aspx?spid=1014638'
 ></script>

Thanx a million for any help!

        Kind Regards
        André
