I blogged about it several days ago.

I have to check out netvibes and protopage. Part of my consulting business 
is helping organizations with various Google apps. iGoogle was a key piece 
of that..

The odd is their "reasoning" - non of which had anything to do with browser 
independent, cloud-based services - the reason I use iGoogle. I don't want 
it tied to my phone or my browser.
