With iGoogle and all the gadgets retiring I'm thinking to host my gadgets
on my own server... maybe my friends' gadgets too.
All I have to do is to upload those xml files on a live site.
However, I don't know how to make them display online, as HTML content. For
example, right now the Google does this with this page/URL:
http://www.gmodules.com/ig/ifr
For example, this will load, in browser, the gadget's HTML (<Content type="
html">) and display it as HTML, and not all the gadget's content (XML).
I would like to know if someone knows how to make this happen. To host my
own gadgets I need this page code; whether it is using PHP or Java to parse
the XML gadget and display it like this:
http://www.gmodules.com/ig/ifr?synd=googlemodules&w=500&h=350&mid=0&url=http://www.atlaslabs.net/gadgets/widget/bow/bow.xml
 ,
I don't really care.
All I know, right now, (I'm a noob regarding PHP) is how to get the
gadget's URL address ($url = $_GET[filename];) - what will the script do
with it in order to display the gadget like above, I really don't know :(
