I too want iGoogle kept and am very suspicious why the other discussion was 
closed/locked as a "duplicate" when it had over 1000 comments.
Looks like signing this petition is the way to go unless anyone knows of a 
better one.

Biggest issue with Google saying "with Chrome and Android iGoogle is 
unnecessary" is that if I customise chrome (which is not as good as you can 
only display icons not proper widgets), you can't see that in another 
browser as far as I can tell.
Seems to me they are trying to replace iGoogle with a chrome/android 
specific replacement to force people away from IE/Firefox without realising 
they are more likely to drive their existing iGoogle users to Yahoo or 
simething like that.

Madness....not listening to customers........recipe for decline and fall.
