Comment by ferrypessoa: One problem with Spring is that it seems to provide no component-centric "front end". Spring MVC is no longer a state-of-the-art technology. Tapestry-Spring integration is not fool-proof (Tapestry5 has moved on to create its own IOC). If Spring can provide a component front end AND a fully integrated stack like JBoss Seam - that would turn the tables on EVERYONE.
