*phasmal:* I completely agree with you. I have never understood why anyone  
would want to replace something a simple as the new operator with some kind  
of library and annotations. I would personally maintain that everything  
that you can do with Guice, you can also do in standard Java and in a much  
more concise way, as per your example.

*limpbizkit:* I am at a loss to see how you can consider that elementary  
object construction can somehow become "out of control" or not "scale".

Guice is a "solution" for something that was quite simply never a problem  
in the first place.
