The mailing list is really a better place for general discussion. The code
review UI isn't too good here. That said, we did consider an
@Bind(lazy=true) which allowed the value to be pulled from the variable at
injection time instead of configuration time... but dropped it because it
complicated lots of other things. If enough people clamor for it, we can
add it back.
